Who needs the Pyramids??

Why do I ask who needs the pyramids, well because yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting our very own Wonder of the World. Out in the wilds of Meath are monuments that pre date the Pyramids at Giza and  the stone circle at Stonehenge, so what is this wonderful place? Its the ancient passage tombs at Brú na Bóinne. Brú na Bóinne includes Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth. Yesterday I had the opportunity to visit the passage tomb at Newgrange, the place is  simply amazing, it provides more questions than answers. How did our ancestors manage to build this place which pre dates the wheel? These Stone age people had knowledge of astronomy, engineering and science. All I can say is that if anyone gets a chance they should visit it.
